Client Manager
Sarah has more than 15 years of experience in grant writing, prospect research, board development and strategic planning for entities ranging from universities and national organizations to grassroots community groups. After completing degrees in sociology and mass communication from the University of Utah, Sarah earned a master’s degree in urban planning and policy from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She worked as a consultant for a range of innovative community organizations before joining the prospect research team of the Trust for Public Land. Sarah returned to Utah in 2014 and became the development officer for University Neighborhood Partners. After taking time off to raise two young boys (and moonlight as a newspaper reporter), Sarah is back to the work she loves best: connecting nonprofits to the resources they need to accomplish their missions.
Sarah has served on several advisory boards, including West View Media, Green Urban Lunch Box, and the Bennion Center. She is passionate about history, nature, and soccer (both playing and watching).
