DEVELOPMENT INTERN
Joseph Gibbons is a Master of Public Administration student at Brigham Young University with a passion for public service and cross-sector consulting. He brings over a decade of success in direct sales and team leadership at Vivint, where he trained and managed more than 100 sales reps, developed sales and training strategies, and has generated over $9 million in lifetime company revenue. During his time at Vivint, he also led fundraising efforts and volunteered across Thailand, Costa Rica, Mexico, and the U.S. through Vivint Gives Back, earning NRG’s “Volunteer of the Year Award.” While completing his bachelor’s in political science at BYU, he interned with the International Trade Administration’s Advocacy Center, helping U.S. businesses compete globally by aligning public and private sector strengths. Fluent in Thai, Lao, and Spanish, Joseph thrives in multicultural environments and dreams of one day serving his country in the U.S. Foreign Service. He loves traveling with his wife, enjoys history, plays classical viola and mandolin, and spends downtime with his two rescue kittens, Johann and Felicity.
